Radiating Joy: Reflections on Children and Reincarnation

Chapter 1: Observations of Innocence
Recently, while exiting my local library, I noticed a mother and her young daughter walking together, hand in hand. The girl, likely around three years old, had blonde hair, while her mother, taller than my 5'4" frame, had dark hair. As I trailed behind them, I couldn’t help but observe their interaction. The little girl seemed to radiate happiness, and her mother was carrying several library books that appeared intended for her. In that moment, the child seemed to exude a warm, golden glow. I found myself longing for the simplicity of childhood, feeling envious of her buoyant steps that embodied pure joy.
In the midst of this, I contemplated sharing my thoughts on Medium but felt the need for more time to reflect before hitting 'publish'. The ideas swirling in my mind felt quite radical. My inner voice urged me to publish over the weekend instead of postponing until October 1. After adding a few more images to my article, I finally hit send and tried to relax.
However, I couldn't shake the image of that glowing child from my mind. Although she appeared blissful, I couldn't help but feel a profound sadness for the challenges she would likely face as she grew up. This feeling of deep despair lingered within me, especially as I considered the opinions of those who assert themselves as authorities on women's roles in society, family, and relationships.
When I am profoundly affected by something, I tend to dive into research. I picked up “A Treatise on Cosmic Fire” and searched for the terms related to radiation. While I understand that these teachings touch on concepts like magnetic impulse and radiation, my lack of scientific training has limited my exploration. Nonetheless, I have felt what might be described as magnetic attraction in some of my relationships, and I’ve always been curious about its true nature. In the realm of occultism, it’s often taught that one must start from universal concepts and work down to specifics.
Section 1.1: Radiation and Cyclic Law
In “A Treatise on Cosmic Fire,” there is a reference to “Cyclic Law” in the context of radiation. I mentioned cycles in my previous post. Master D.K. states (Pg 1078–1083) that humanity is entering a period of radioactivity where individuals will achieve greater awareness and transcend their limitations, evolving into the spiritual realm. This process is akin to an initiatory journey.
On page 1074 (TCF), it is explained that “the cause of radiation is the response of the positive life in any atom to the attractive power of the positive life in a greater atom.” This indicates a transformation where one atom ascends to a higher kingdom—moving from mineral to vegetable, from vegetable to animal, and so forth. By using the law of analogy, this can be viewed as the liberation of the lower atom from outdated conditions. Perhaps our scientists could offer deeper insights into this phenomenon.
Humanity is currently undergoing such a transformation, described as a ‘cycle of the second order’ (pg 1079). This will become evident when specific conditions are met:
- Global chaos has calmed. (This reference dates back to the aftermath of WWI and WWII.)
- The current generation has completed its reconstruction efforts.
- When a significant figure enters their mission on Earth.
- … When the psychological egos (souls) involved make their presence known.
- … Working alongside the 4th Root race (Atlantean), a movement initiated by the Lodge will stimulate the leading thinkers of that era, with Confucius reincarnating to oversee the process.
To put this into context, I believe a certain peace was attained after the World Wars. Although I wasn’t alive during that time, I often contemplate how close we are to a similar global conflict today. Master D.K. likened the Great War to a surgical intervention aimed at curing the disease of materialism, which humanity aims to avoid repeating.
It seems the reconstruction that took place was centered around building a materialistic society. Have we become more authoritarian in our approach to the spiritual essence of humanity? I wonder if we might have created a better world by viewing our material wealth through a spiritual lens.
I’m uncertain about the implications of this. Yet, I believe many individuals are connected to the Christ consciousness, which Master D.K. refers to as a ‘psychological life’ (EP 1). I appreciate the concept of ‘Right Human Relations’ that Master D.K. emphasizes as vital for our social interactions—an idea that resonates with the teachings of Jesus. The evangelical movement, however, seems to have taken a more extreme turn, alienating many, myself included. Those channeling Archangels may tap into this Christ consciousness, as do those striving to interpret the Bible, often viewed as veiled occultism.
I would categorize thinkers like Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud, and possibly Jordan Peterson as ‘psycho-scientific’ egos, among many others I might not be familiar with. I believe our mental health professionals often underestimate the contributions of Jung and Freud, as both sought to unravel the mysteries of our inner selves.
I am not well-versed in Confucian philosophy, so I consulted Wikipedia for insights on him. The summary provided captures his essence well: “his moral teachings emphasized self-cultivation, emulation of moral exemplars, and the attainment of skilled judgment rather than mere knowledge of rules. A type of virtue ethics.” He sounds like a decent individual—someone worth following, particularly if he had a good sense of humor.
Subsection 1.1.1: The Role of Education
What connection does all of this have with my observation of a radiant child? Master D.K.’s work, “Education in the New Age,” presents innovative ideas for the future of education and critiques past and present methods. He asserts, “the damage inflicted on children during their formative years often proves irreversible, leading to pain and suffering in later life.” This realization explains my feelings of despair.
He outlines four essential actions parents should take to cultivate an environment where certain qualities can thrive (pg 75–77). I strongly encourage all parents of young children to delve into this work.
I do not intend to place blame on any specific group or individual. The challenges faced in America are significant enough that a collective re-evaluation is essential for improvement.
Just a thought: often, all it takes is a single positive thought or conviction, allowing the essence of your being to guide you forward.
