Chapter 1: The Quest for Answers

What has life turned into, oh my?

Some claim it’s a puzzle

That deserves exploration,

While others mourn

The abundance of despair and gore!

I find that inquiries lead me further

Without losing my rhythm.

For the wonders of Mother Nature

And the vast cosmos

Are my endless expanse

And surely,

The essence of my soul!

Simple questions pave the way

For an intuitive and creative approach,

Yet most people chase answers,

Seeking certainty in the sway.

If travel were not an option,

What would truly nurture your spirit,

A field of wildflowers

Or a sky adorned in gold?

Perhaps companionship holds more weight,

A friendly embrace

Yet to be told.

If love is your journey,

Where would you commence?

And once you uncover the treasure within,

Whom would you invite to share

In your divine abundance?

If culinary delights bring you joy,

Where would you enjoy a meal?

On a mountaintop at sunset

Or on a cinnamon-sand beach,

Basking in the sun's gentle morning touch.

If given the choice to be a fish or a bird,

Which would you prefer?

Or would you choose to remain grounded,

Standing tall on two legs,

Or sprinting like a Puma on four,

Exploring the cosmos

And reveling in joy?

If attire mattered, would it be zebra stripes,

Leopard spots, or perhaps something unseen,

Just a thought, how curious it seems.

Does your existence expand or contract

With the sun's ascent and descent

Or the rhythm of the tides,

Or inhaling moonbeams from above?

If you were to open the door to adventure,

Who or what would greet you,

Broadening your horizons even further?

What would you share with a stranger

To reveal your essence?

Would you invite them for a cup of tea,

To share perspectives and see

How emotions might rise,

Allowing each to express their purpose without disguise?

The freedom to express

Is my soul’s pursuit,

And I refuse to settle for less.

It’s the loving spirit of the soul that counts,

Without bowing to life’s Mad Hatters!

It’s choices I seek,

No matter how they appear,

Perhaps it’s all a dream

Between the silence

And the dancing moonbeams.

As I began to write, nothing seemed clear until I realized my muse was nudging me gently. So I said, "It’s your turn to compose, let it flow word by word until it’s beautifully out of sight. And I hope we aren't here until midnight." My muse responded, "Just write... we’re all part of the same tribe."
