According to Bloomberg UK, individuals like Nikole Vicente have seen their crypto investments diminish dramatically. She reported a $30,000 loss since November 2021, partly due to her shift toward cryptocurrency after her wellness company was sold. This led her to relocate to Mexico, relying on earnings from decentralized finance and altcoins.

The silver lining in this situation is that many cryptocurrency miners are now offloading their computers and components at significantly reduced prices, creating a buyer's market. For example, the RTX 2060 graphics card, which once sold for around $350, can now be found for as little as $160.
