Celebrating 50 Issues of The Electric Pipeline: A Journey
Written on
Chapter 1: The Beginning of an Exciting Journey
On January 8, 2022, I launched the inaugural edition of The Electric Pipeline, titled The Mountain Top Syndrome. The thrill of sharing my work—something entirely new for me—was immense. It felt like stepping through a door into uncharted territory, where I could explore life, pursue truth, and gain a deeper understanding of myself. The alignment of my inner and outer worlds was exhilarating.
Fast forward to today, and the raucously named How About You Shut the Fuck Up stands as the 50th publication from the Pipeline. Over these past nine months, I've shared 50 stories, or "issues," as I prefer to call them, treating The Electric Pipeline like a newspaper.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has engaged with my work—reading, commenting, and sharing their thoughts on the ideas presented. Your insights are incredibly motivating, and it warms my heart to know that many of you are following these narratives.
A special thanks goes out to those who left comments on my stories:
The Curiologess, your support means the world. Regina Clarke, I appreciate the opportunity for our interview. Mario López-Goicoechea, your role in publishing many of the stories has been invaluable. JD Greyson, your insights, alongside your poetry, have enriched my experience. Hayden Moore, Margie Willis, Paul Causey, Annie D., CM Evans, Elvie Lins, Danae Kardara, Patricia Timmermans, Dr. A. Arif Maghribi Khan, Brooklyn Muse, Knowingly Stupid, Annelise Lords, Zaid - WrittenMastery, Josie P. Julius, Anu Nandakumar, Patrick O'Connell, Hidayatullah, Danny Can, EP McKnight, MEd, Michelle Renee Kidwell, K.M. Fullerton, Josep Ferrer, Vanessa Leanne, Moony Thinker, BOFace, Kunjan Virani, David Pollard, Shereen Bingham, Fraser Duncan, GL Merrick, Lisa A Lachapelle, Canuckscribe, Linda Wright, and Keith Sonnanburg. And to everyone else who has shown support, thank you!
Hats off to all of you!
Additionally, I'm grateful to the following publications that accepted my submissions:
- ILLUMINATION
- ILLUMINATION’S MIRROR
- Writers’ Blokke
- Age of Awareness
- Blue Insights
Last but not least, I extend my sincere thanks to the photographers whose images have enhanced my stories. Choosing the right visuals is vital to me, as they contribute significantly to the narrative being conveyed. I often spend considerable time searching for the perfect image that aligns with the theme, mood, and vision. If I can't find it, the story remains unpublished until I do. Most of my images come from Pexels.com, and even if the contributors may never see this, I want to express my deep appreciation.
Chapter 2: Reflecting on Favorite Moments
To commemorate this significant milestone, I want to revisit some of my favorite moments. These stories delve into the phenomena shaping our world today, revealing the hidden layers behind the mundane aspects of life. They have not only helped me gain a clearer understanding of myself and those around me but have also been enjoyable to create.
