Chapter 1: My First Article Experience
I’m thrilled to share that my inaugural article on NewsBreak has been successfully published! After contemplating writing for this platform for several weeks, I finally took the plunge last night. Upon waking, I made a few edits and hit publish. To my surprise, it was approved very quickly!
This platform differs significantly from Medium. While I’m still focusing on my area of expertise, my content will be more localized. Residing in the Tri-State region, encompassing Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, my base is Northern Kentucky, conveniently located just 10 minutes from Cincinnati and about 20 minutes from the Indiana border.
What Topics Will I Explore?
The title of my first article was “Cincinnati: Is It a Good Place to Start a Business and Raise a Family?” My upcoming pieces will delve into themes surrounding business and entrepreneurship in the local area, explore the most promising side hustles, and highlight top-notch restaurants and small family-owned businesses.
Time Commitment for NewsBreak
I aim to contribute a couple of articles each week, though my writing pace will differ from what I typically produce on other platforms. My goal is to diversify my income streams through writing, as it’s something I genuinely enjoy.
Final Thoughts
As many of you know, I also have a passion for photography, and I believe this venture will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase my skills—using my photos as the main visuals or throughout my articles.
