My Imaginary Dinner Party

This series sort of spilled out of me accidentally one evening when I realised I hadn’t written a blog post for ages and couldn’t think what to write about. It’s a classic ice-breaker question. If you could invite anybody, alive or dead, to a dinner party, who would you choose and why? Step in, have a drink and enjoy the evening.

Meet my guests

Leonard Cohen

A musician, poet and lover/watcher of people. He knew darkness but he kept it at bay long enough to paint its portrait.

Lana Del Rey

A captivating singer and lyricist who shares my love of Art Deco, Sylvia Plath and Vladimir Nabokov.

Margaret Atwood

An excellent writer who is remarkably good at portraying the shadowy parts of womanhood.
