What’s been going on with my body: week two

There were a few cock-ups this week in the ‘putting things in my mouth’ department

And that’s not as sexual as it sounds. I just needed something more sensational than ‘my diet’s going alright’.

Diet cock-ups: Alcohol in large quantities on Saturday night. Garlic bread with dinner on Sunday. Dark chocolate on strawberries afterwards (pretty conservative for me actually).

Diet highlights: I gymmed and Bootcamped every day except for Sunday. I turned down a cream tea in Canterbury. I danced off a few calories in a bar and resisted buying chips at 2am. I also turned down a cupcake at work on Friday, which was pretty painful.

I’ve discovered that splitting lunch into two parts and having one half mid-morning and the other one in the late-afternoon stops me getting hungry and craving something sweet.

I gave myself a weigh-in this morning. The results were surprisingly good. If my measuring contraptions are working properly, then this is what’s been going on with my body:

  • I’ve lost an inch from my waist
  • Lost and inch from my tummy
  • Lost 3oz of weight (probably a poo)
  • Increased muscle by 1%
  • Dropped fat by 1%

That’s it for tonight, I want to go to bed and play Wordament on my phone.
